Glowing Visions: Artist Stanislav Jakubek Unveils Interactive UV Exhibition in Galway
Acclaimed visual artist Stanislav Jakubek is bringing a radiant new dimension to the Galway arts scene with his upcoming exhibition of UV-reactive artworks at the Hall of the Red Earl, located on Druid Lane, Galway. Running from Monday, 26 May through Saturday, 21 June, the exhibition will be open daily from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM.
Known for his vibrant, light-sensitive resin art and immersive installations, Jakubek invites visitors into a unique and interactive experience where color, light, and imagination collide. Each piece comes alive under ultraviolet light, creating an otherworldly glow that transforms the traditional gallery experience into something dynamic and deeply sensory.
“I want people to feel like they’ve stepped into another dimension,” Jakubek says. “UV art lets us experience color and form in ways that challenge how we see the world around us.”
The venue, Galway’s historic Hall of the Red Earl, offers a fitting backdrop — blending medieval architecture with cutting-edge contemporary art. This exhibition represents a rare opportunity to witness the fusion of ancient and modern through a truly innovative artistic lens.
The event is free to attend and suitable for all ages. Visitors are encouraged to explore the work up close, engage with its interactive elements, and see how light can become a medium of emotion and discovery.
