Celebrating 30 Years of Heritage Preservation
In 2024, we proudly celebrated our 30th anniversary with a series of events that highlighted our commitment to Galway’s unique heritage. The anniversary celebration was a memorable day filled with engaging talks, captivating performances, and cultural showcases at the Mick Lally Theatre and the Hall of the Red Earl.
Free Tours Weekly
We are delighted to continue offering free guided tours to the community and visitors alike in 2025:
- Medieval City Walk: Every Tuesday & Thursday at 2:00 pm
- A Journey Through Galway, Past and Present: Every Wednesday at 12:30 pm
- Galway City Waterways: Every Wednesday at 2:00 pm
All tours start from Hall of the Red Earl, and no booking is required to join. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a long-time resident, our tours are a perfect way to experience Galway’s rich history and vibrant culture.
Engaging Events and Activities
In addition to our tours, we hosted a variety of events in 2024 that brought the community together, including cultural exhibitions, educational talks, and artistic showcases. This tradition will continue with even more exciting activities planned for 2025.
