Starting at the Hall of the Red Earl: Our meeting point, the Hall of the Red Earl, sets the stage for a memorable experience. This beautifully restored medieval building, nestled on the banks of the River Corrib, is steeped in history and offers a glimpse into Galway’s past. From here, we’ll embark on a journey that will transport you through time.

Exploring Galway’s Waterways: As we make our way through the heart of the city, we’ll encounter historic bridges, charming waterfront promenades, and lively quays. You’ll be mesmerized by the architectural wonders that grace the riverbanks, such as the iconic Spanish Arch and the elegant Salmon Weir Bridge. Prepare to be captivated by the stories of the merchants, sailors, and adventurers who once traversed these very waters.

Witnessing Nature’s Beauty: The waterways of Galway City are not only rich in history but also offer breathtaking natural beauty. Along our route, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas of the River Corrib and the surrounding landscapes. Keep an eye out for graceful swans gliding along the water, and if we’re lucky, we may even catch a glimpse of playful otters or elusive kingfishers.
