The Nolan Clan / Clann Nualláin is proud to announce its 15th biannual AGM and Gathering will be held on 9-10 September 2023 in Galway’s Harbor Hotel.

This year marks the Nolan Clan’s first Gathering in Galway. We are excited to bring together the many Nolans of Galway, Ireland and the world to celebrate our rich history. Our program will honor the Nolans of Ballyloughane and Renmore at Nolan Park. We will visit the New Cemetery gravesite of Sebastian Nolan. We will learn about the 1642 Nolan/Skerrett marriage stone on Abbeygate Street at a lecture by Jim Higgins, Galway City Heritage Officer, at the Mechanic’s Institute. We will enjoy a walking tour of Galway led by noted expert Brian Nolan. We will attend Sunday mass at St. Colman’s Church Corofin and visit Ballinderry Castle and the site of the Battle of Knockdoe.

The weekend’s highlight will be Saturday evening where the Nolan Clan will celebrate our shared kinship and history at its gala dinner and Awards of Appreciation ceremony at the Harbor Hotel. The Nolans of Carlow reestablished the Nolan Clan in 1995 and the Nolan Clan is a member of Clans of Ireland. This year we will welcome attendees from as far away as New Zealand, Canada and the USA.
