Galway Civic Trust is pleased to announce that generous support has been provided by The Heritage Council of Ireland through the Community Heritage Grant Scheme, in conjunction with Galway City Council, to Promote Heritage Premises and Public Engagement in Galway.

This exciting project is now underway and will run until mid-September. Galway Civic Trust / Dúchas na Gaillimhe are working hard to realize our project goals and plan to host one of the most memorable series of public events during Heritage Week, which runs from 13th – 21st August 2022.

The project includes the publication of new interpretative texts about our local history and heritage,  to be made available to the community in written, audio, and video formats, with translations into several languages.
