About Lara Luxardi Studio
I am an Italian Artist living in Galway since 2010. I hold an Honours Degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice and I work as a freelance Illustrator and Designer and as an Art Teacher.
When I discovered the field of Illustration it was love at first sight. I felt that I wasn’t really being introduced to something new, but I was being given a space, a place, and an explanation for what I was already doing, for what my eyes were seeing. I love telling stories, particularly those transmitting wisdom, belonging, memories, the relationship with the environment and the soul of its people.
