\"\"On Saturday 13th May 2023 a one hour Rosary will be prayed at the Hall of the Red Earl, Druid Lane, Galway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This event is\u00a0 a celebration of traditional Roman Catholic heritage and culture, and all are invited to experience how the Rosary is prayed and dedicated to our Lady of Fatima.<\/p>\n

The event is part of a national Rosary Rally in honour of our Lady of Fatima, organised by Irish Society for Christian\u00a0Civilisation (ISFCC)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The Rosary will be recited from 4pm on Saturday 13th May, and this will last approximately one hour. The Hall will remain open until 6pm, and all members of the public are invited to attend, we will have a guided tour and free information on other aspects of the Hall’s history and archaeology, such as St. Brendan’s Well and the later medieval iron forge which has a cruciform structure.<\/p>\n

The Hall of the Red Earl is\u00a0a fascinating medieval archaeological site which dates to the 13th century and is linked to the Anglo-Norman De Burgo family. The hall, in essence was a tax office and was Galway\u2019s first municipal building. It was used to collect taxes, dispense justice and used to host banquets.<\/p>\n

In the late 15th century, the Tribe families of Galway seized power from the De Burgos and forced them out of the city. The hall subsequently became abandoned and fell into ruin. Over the intervening centuries, the ruins were covered over and further built upon.<\/p>\n

In 1997 archaeologists unearthed the remaining ruins of the site with over 11,000 artefacts being uncovered.<\/p>\n

Over 500 Public Square Rosary Rallies Coming to Towns and Cities across Ireland on May 13<\/h3>\n

\"\"On May 13, Ireland will be blanketed with over 500 Public Square Rosary Rallies. Organised by\u00a0Irish Society for Christian\u00a0Civilisation (ISFCC).\u00a0<\/em>These rallies will\u00a0honour\u00a0the requests made by Our Lady of Fatima.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince 2013, we have been holding\u00a0a\u00a0Public Square Rosary Rally on O\u2019Connell Street in Dublin,\u201d said\u00a0Gregory Murphy, an ISFCC volunteer and coordinator of the Rosary Rallies.<\/p>\n

The effort began in 2017 when the ISFCC organised 200 rallies to commemorate the 100 years of the\u00a0Fatima apparitions. Each year, the number has grown with\u00a0515 Public Square Rosary Rallies<\/a>\u00a0in 2022.<\/p>\n

Those wishing to sign up to lead a rally can call 089-461-7935\u00a0or register online. Those who register will be sent a banner and a how-to manual.<\/p>\n

Organising a rally is not difficult or overwhelming. All one needs to do is invite friends and family to pray the Rosary for one hour in a public space.\u201d<\/p>\n

Those who participate find the experience so satisfying that they often organise more rallies. Some two hundred captions from 2022 have already signed up for this year because they saw the immense good it did for them, their friends and the public in general.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople also see how the only real solution to Ireland\u2019s problems is conversion,\u201d Mr. Murphy insists. \u201cThat is why they sign up again because a Public Square Rosary Rally creates an occasion for Our Lady to reach out to people and inspire their conversion.\u201d<\/p>\n
