Today, Mayor Helen Ogbu addressed guests at the Hall of the Red Earl as Galway Civic Trust officially announced the renaming of its exhibition space as the Peadar O’Dowd Gallery, honouring the renowned historian, educator, and champion of Galway\u2019s heritage. In her remarks, the Mayor reflected on Peadar O’Dowd\u2019s lasting contribution to the city\u2019s cultural and historical life and the importance of preserving and celebrating Galway\u2019s rich legacy for future generations. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
