We\u2019re thrilled to announce an upcoming solo exhibition by Aran Young<\/strong>, a Drogheda-based visual artist whose evocative and atmospheric work has captivated audiences both in Ireland and abroad.<\/p>\n

\u2728 About the Artist<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Aran Young<\/strong> was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1980 and spent his formative years moving between Australia and Ireland before settling in Galway as a teenager. Entirely self-taught in his early years, Young’s artistic passion led him to pursue a BA in Fine Art (Painting) at NCAD, graduating in 2011.<\/p>\n

A co-founder of Hendrons Studios<\/strong> in Dublin, Aran helped establish affordable creative spaces for artists in the city and worked there as an artist in residence until 2018. His practice is grounded in painting, often drawing from photography for inspiration. His body of work spans painting, drawing, photography, and mural art.<\/p>\n

Over the past decade, his work has been exhibited across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Since 2022, he has been living and working in Drogheda, County Louth.<\/p>\n
