National Biodiversity Week is celebrated each year to showcase our natural surroundings and our wildlife. It is an <\/a><\/span>opportunity to explore the wildlife in our area and to connect with nature.<\/div>\n

In our ongoing efforts to preserve and protect our natural, cultural and built heritage, we here at Galway Civic Trust \/ Duchas na Gaillimhe wish to mark the occasion.<\/div>\n

Galway Civic Trust \/ Duchas na Gaillimhe will host a Waterways Walk on Thursday, 22 May, at 12 o’clock. This walk will take approx. 2 hours; and will give us a chance to discover some of the birds, butterflies and flowers of the area.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
<\/div>\n
This is a free tour as part of our efforts to increase awareness of our waterways and our natural environment in the heart of Galway city.<\/div>\n
