Galway County Council are thrilled to announce The Hare’s Corner funding scheme to support landowners and community groups across County Galway in undertaking nature-positive measures on their lands. The Hare\u2019s Corner project offers landowners \u2018hassle free\u2019 support to carry out simple but impactful actions for biodiversity <\/a><\/span>such as creation of a wildlife pond, a native mini-woodland, a heritage mini-orchard with apple trees from Irish Seedsavers Association and\/or a bespoke \u2018plan for nature\u2019 or \u2018peatland plan\u2019 for their site.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This project is coordinated by Burrenbeo Trust<\/span><\/a><\/span> in partnership with Galway County Council Biodiversity Office (under The Heritage Council<\/span><\/a><\/span> Programme) and is funded by the Local Biodiversity Action Plan through the NPWS\/NoticeNature Ireland and Greencoat Renewables.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
