This Halloween, Galway Civic Trust invites you to an evening exploring one of the most intriguing figures in folklore.
Lilith.
Demon.
Legend.
Adam’s first wife.
Witch.
Modern symbol of independence.
But how did this mysterious figure acquire so many identities — and was Lilith really the first witch?
Join us at the Peadar O’Dowd Gallery, Hall of the Red Earl, on Friday 30 October 2026 for a special Halloween talk exploring the origins and evolution of the Lilith legend.
More information and booking coming soon.
